Is Israel becomong a nation again proof of the Bibles truth?

First off I am an exchristian so please no apologetics. It just seems so uncanny that a people could survive.1800 years with no nation then in one day (as prophesied frankly) get a country back. No other country has this ever happened to. This must be explained. What is the moderate ( non Christian) take on this. Please nothing about faith and Jesus, just rational reasoning from a logical standpoint.
