I bought a Hauck travel system pram which includes the baby's car seat, the instructions say it is a rear-facing seat. But then when i've fitted it into the car rear-facing it is not very secure at all and i would be so worried driving around with the baby in it as it is wobbling around. But when i've fitted it forward-facing it is much more secure and doesn't move at all, which i see as being a lot safer for the baby. I was just wondering is it legal for baby's to be in their car seat forward-facing? Or does it need to be rear-facing? Thanks x

Hey everyone, I travel on weekends and this weekend after returning home from Michigan, I noticed after using the bathroom, that there was a little bit of bright red blood on the toilet paper upon "cleaning up". I did not notice a change in color in the water, or anything else, and it did not drop into the water. It was present on the TP, and appeared on 3 wipes (smaller than a fingernail size of blood), then no more. Over the weekend I ate a ton of granola, rice, and sat for extended periods of time. I did have gas for 2 days prior to this appearing, and also ate 3 12" meatball subs, and a cheeseburger this weekend. I did not have to strain to use the restroom, and there was no pain. I am 26 years old, and would just like to know if I should be worried about this, or if it something minimal. My worst fear is that it is colon cancer, which is not genetic in my family. However, jobs are hard to come by right now so unless you could make it without a pay check for an undetermined length of time, you should look for another job while still working at this one. When you find another job simply tell your employer you've found a job in your career field - after all that's why you went to college. If you do leave this job before finding another one tell the potential employer you wanted to get a job in your career field and didn't have time to look while you were working. Until then I'd ask why you and the others are required to finish up your work after you've clocked out. They can't legally require you to do that.

Qualifcation help please?

I would like to become a mental health nurse or go into the therapy side of things but i can't afford to go to uni as i need to work full time to pay bills etc. I have been looking at home learning courses and have found one on an ncc.co.uk which say the diploma is recognised by the relevent government agencies and departments including QCA(qualifications and curriculum authority) and DIUS (department for innovation,universities and skills)in England. Basement ceiling HELP. Drop ceiling or drywall wouldnt work for us.?

I need ideas for my basement ceiling. I have radant heating so there are pipes running every which way. I dont want to cover them with regular drop down ceilings or drywall, because it is a waste of heat, with it being open right now my basement is nice and tastey, second if there is a leak (we can get right to it), and third if we close it off we will have to pay more taxes on the area due to a "finished basement". Is This Plagarism Or Not?

OK, I've been writing forever, and one of my favorite plots involves my main character, a dancing expert from a big city, moving to a tiny middle of no where town and attending a tiny community dance cl where everyone else sucks. But recently I read a book with a very similar plot-the main character, a ballet expert in NYC moves to a tiny town in upstate NY and goes to a community dance school where everyone sucks. Also in my story, the main character's mother is like German, or Austrian and an amazing dance instructor. In the books', the mother is Russian and a former ballet star herself. The only real diff is the fact that my character does hip hop, and my writing style is way different. Could I go on with that plot, even though I had it planned out before I had ever read this book, or would that be plagarism?

Would using a general knife sharpener work on a cheap katana?

Many of the imitation wall hangers are made out of a cheap "pot" metal. Then they are plated with a thin layer of copper so that they can then finish it with chrome. A student surprised me when he brought one of these in that he had tried to sharpen. You could see the chrome, copper, and the cheap soft pot metal core. The sword was totally useless, even as a wall hanger. You may or may not have something like that one. I guess you can try, but you may not like the results. A cheap sword is likely to break easily if you try cutting with it. I do not recommend that you sharpen it or try cutting with it.

Ok, so on Saturday, 11/13 I had this semi- with my bf, we're both 21. I say semi- because it was quite painful and I asked him to stop. I have been on Yaz since May and have never missed a pill. I also have Crohn's disease which can cause diarrhea, so whenever I've taken my pill and had an attack immediately after, I have taken another pill just in case to make sure I absorb it. My bf was also wearing a condom, and he didn't , but may have pre-d but he wasn't sure. He even filled the condom with water and nothing squirted out so we umed it was intact. On Saturday, 11/20, I got my period like clockwork, one week after the encounter. I thought it was a heavy to normal flow, especially on the first day and second day I had it, it started to lessen by the third day, and by the 4th day, Tuesday, it was very light, very little on the pad. Same on Wednesday, almost nonexistent, and just sort of stopped. My question is that I usually bleed for almost a week, and I'm very scared this is a sign of pregnancy, as it just sort of stopped after 3-4 days, (I'm counting Saturday as my first day, since that's when I started to bleed). I'm so upset and nervous, could this short period just be stress? I was really upset after the and stressed about school, (I'm in college). Should I call my doctor? Should I take the test? York e z curl bar questions?

hi 2day i went to argos and bought a york e z curl barbell weights set. Im 15 and i have another set of weights. The weights i have are one handed ones so you only use one hand to lift them. This has led to some problems with my ez bar. As you lift with two hands when using ez bars this feels very weird to me and the part which im holding with my right hand seems to dip whereas on the left hand side it doesnt dip at all.also the ez bar and the weights arent that heavy(18kg which is nothing) however, despite the fact tht ive been lifting weights for over a year they feel much heavier than they should considering the fact that i can pretty muchlift the sameamount of weight in one hand.Are all these problems im having due to the fact that i am not used to lifting with two hands an has anyone else found that at first e bars feel weid.

Stay at home mom w/ severly disabled infant & trying extremely hard to lose weight, PLEASE HELP!?

I am in dire need of finding a way to lose weight while taking care of my severely disabled 15 month old (severe CP & brain damage). She cannot sit up, crawl, walk, etc...vomits all the time, and I find myself sitting with her constantly so she can be upright as to not vomit. 3/4 of my day is spent sitting and trying to magage her through seizures, body stiffening, etc...and I am exhausted by the time she lays down for a 2 hr or less nap. (doesn't sleep through the night either due to muscle stiffening and tremors). I had weighted 113lbs when I got pregnant and now am at just under what I weighted at full term. It is hard to make meals, as I usually have to grab and go get her again (as I lay her down quickly for 2 minutes or less) and that is how I can eat during the day...whatever is quick and easy to manage while holding her. I know this might seem hopeless, as it has to me, but I have hope someone out there may have some suggestions for me...I want to stay energetic and healthy for my little angel, as she depends soley on me, I cannot be at my best for her if I don't lose some weight and soon! CVS Bad customer service... denial of service!?

Last night, at around 11:10p.m., I went to a CVS pharmacy and asked the pharmacist to ist me in getting a medicine for a series of prescriptions. My insurance expired on July 31st and we only had about an hour to get the medicine on the insurance. To my surprise, the pharmacist had a 'chip on her shoulder' and was terribly awful! To make a long story short, she ended up insulting my nephew (who was with me at the time, 12-year old) and myself. We ended up exchanging insults and she refused to ist me while sh was isgint other customers. Is there anything I can do to legally have CVS pay for this medicine? The pharmacist purposedly kept us there for almost 30-40 minutes. I spoke to the manager but he said there was nothing he could do but to complain to the main CVS hotline. First of all, I'm glad you realize there's a problem, and you're asking for help. Maybe you think that your parents wouldn't understand or wouldn't want to help you, but if they knew the situation was as serious as it sounds, I'd like to think they would do everything in their power to help you. However, since you're uncomfortable talking to them, have you considered a teen help or crisis line in your area? I'm sure there is one, and whenever you call, there will be counselors there who are trained in ways to help you. Maybe just a listening ear will make things seem better, or maybe they can direct you to the help you need--doctors, therapists etc. If you're involved with a church, maybe someone there can help you. And talking to a trusted friend might be good for you as well--yes it will be hard, but it will put your thoughts into words as you talk, and maybe give you more strength to talk with others about it. Don't be angry if the friend tells someone on your behalf--if he or she is the trusted friend you've chosen well, this would be the thing for them to do. It does sound like you have depression, which is a serious thing. You're already harming yourself, you've thought of killing yourself, and yet you're asking for help. Positive HPT but bleeding?

Ok so I got my period on the 30th of March. Had during ovulation. 3 days ago I took the first response early detection HPT. In about 30 seconds it showed a faint positive. Today is the day that i should have gotten my period and guess what..its here! So why do people say that pretty much anytime you get even a faint positive you are pregnant. If that's the case then why am I bleeding? Its not heavy right now, just light spotting but im sure it is going to get heavier. I have the cramps and everything else accompanied with my period. My SMPS was old and my computer used to go black unexpectedly. When I switched it on once again, it used to give the 'overheated' message. I should have promptly changed the SMPS but due to my negligence my SMPS got burnt soon after along with the motherboard chip. Had to replace the SMPS and motherboard. Now the computer reboots unexpectedly everytime power returns and also with the slightest power fluctuation. I find it incredulous that those who say they believe Genesis, and all the stories of miracles throughout the Old Testament actually do believe them. Even if they give them a different interpretation, parables if you will, they seem so far fetched from reality as to make it all seem nonsensical. The story of Jonah is a good example, to be swallowed by a fish and then spat out on dry land because he disobeyed God. Couldn't those who wrote the story think of a better plot, even if people living in 785 BC were so gullible as to be taken in by it. And how do believers living today interpret such stories. If God did conceive Jonah in men's minds as a parable and not a real person, and to become part of scripture, did he err in making it even more difficult to believe or understand in today's more enlightened world? Do modern people really believe these stories, parable or not, have any worthiness in today's world?

walkers, bouncers, excersaucers really don't teach kids anything. They are there for entertainment purposes. Your child will develop the necessary skills from observing and practicing. Also I have heard that placing your baby in these things is not good for their developing joints because it puts too much pressure on their hip/leg joints when they are in them for extended periods. Now that being said I have seen many children that absolutely love these walkers/bouncers/excersaucers and have seen just as many that hate them. I say if your child likes them and wants to be in one then for short periods of time it's good. Just make sure that with any of them the child is supervised. I have seen children that are able to get hurt even on excersaucers and bouncers.

I am 16 years old, soon to be 17. I strongly believe that the society we live in as humans is a corrupt, ignorant and selfish society. For an instance, I was reading in the newspaper (Daily Mail) that the war in Iraq cost a shocking �10bn. My question is; how can we afford to invade a foreign country, spend �10bn under the pretenses of 'helping the people there.' I'm only 16, but how can we help others, if our own country has got problems? We have got people sleeping on the streets of LONDON, the financial CAPITAL of the WORLD. The top 500 businesses of Europe have all got headquarters in this city, yet we have got people sleeping on the streets. How can the Queen justify living in Buckingham Palace, a place with like a thousand rooms, which about 90 percent will go unused for years, yet we have got homeless people? Furthermore, do people not realize how corrupt our government is? Look at these 3 countries we have recently invaded; Afghanistan, Iraq and now Libya. If we really wanted to help people; why did we not invade and take over; Somalia, Congo, Zimbabwe? Because the government doesn't CARE, Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya have got oil, Somalia, Congo and Zimbabwe do not. They (government) only care about how they look in the world. Do you care enough to vote in the next elections for one d!ckhead to do a bad a job as the previous leader? See this is how I see it, in the UK; Labour Party = Iraq invasion. Okay, I want to know if it's possible to think about suicide without being suicidal? Like if you think, what would happen if you committed suicide?or, how would I do it? or, who will miss you? or, where will I go afterward? I think about death too. Is this normal. Cloth wipes solutions and washing with reusable nappies?

Im new to the whole cloth nappy thing but I am loving it and now want to try cloth wipes and making my own solution for my little man who has sensitive skin. Firstly, whats a good solution to make up and I've been getting all sorts of advice about washing the used wipes.
