My bicycle wheel just took a pounding on a speedboat hull while on a boat trip across the Darian gap. The wheel is now buckled. I have tried to true it as best I can but am afraid to tighten the spokes too much. If the rim has taken a good beating can it really be rectified and trued, or once misshapen is that the end of it. There are no signs of cracks and the hub is not damaged. I am using DT swiss double ed spokes.
