Hosting a baby shower and have question on how much food to serve?
After hosting several (over 10) baby and bridal showers, you are better off keeping it simple. You can make any kind of foods but finger foods will go over really well. Spinach dip in a round hallowed out bread bowl and a few baguettes sliced thin and surrounding the round bread bowl goes over really well. Serve some potato chips next to it too. You can get frozen pre made meat, buy a honey garlic sauce (Safeway & or Fry's carries Safeway select brand - awesome) and put the meat and sauce in the crockpot to warm - those are awesome and go over great. you can serve a veggie tray with ranch dip too. lastly I would buy some mini croissants and mini rolls and have a small meat and cheese platter out with some mayo and mustard (you could get real fancy and put the condiments in halved bell peppers to look famcy if you want) remember to add a small bell pepper with black olives and some pickles. There your food is done and guaranteed they will eat it - and you can always eat what is left over. Guaranteed easy and successful. Good luck!
