I really like this guy, what do i do?

There's this guy, who i really like. i mean really really like but theres more than one problem, hes best friends wih my ex who is totally still hung up on me and hes going out with my best friend. He said he likes me a tiny bit more than a friend but hes going to stay with my best friend because to many people will get hurt. How do i get him to see that we're perfect for each other? How do i get him to like me more and realise that he doesnt want to be with her? How do i not get her mad at me? How do i get my ex over me? I've tried getting over him but its to hard.
