What to do with a frozen fully cooked whole turkey?
I have an 11.5 pound erball frozen fully cooked whole turkey. The instructions say to brush it with cooking oil before putting it in the oven but I was wondering if there is any other way that I can prepare it. Cooking oil doesn't sound too appetizing. I will be serving gravy with the turkey but I would still like a way to make the turkey more flavorful. Can I brush it with er or baste it with some kind of broth? I'm not sure if I can baste it the way that people would baste a turkey that was being cooked from its raw state. Anyone have experience with a frozen fully cooked whole turkey?
